MLC Connects Conference

Open to members and non-members

The MLC Conference Planning Committee is proud to share that planning is underway for the 2021 Mobile Lab Coalition Connects virtual event. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, MLC Connects serves to bring our community together virtually and provide professional development opportunities for our members

 

Slated for October 19 and 20, MLC Connects will occur over two half-days and will include keynote speakers, workshop sessions, a member business meeting and networking opportunities.

Registration Fee:

• MLC Members: $25* (a $50 stipend is available for all MLC members but you will be required to pay $75 upfront. See below for details) 

• MLC Non-Members: $75

 

MLC Member-Only Conference Registration Fee Stipend: Thanks to funding from the NIH, a conference stipend of $50 is available to help offset the cost of attending the virtual conference for MLC Members. Members will be required to pay in full ($75) and a check will be sent after the conference. To receive the conference stipend, attendance is required at all sessions.

Agenda and Program:

MLC Connects will occur from 2:30-6 pm EST each day and will include keynote speakers, workshop sessions, a member business meeting and networking opportunities.

3:20 - 4:45 PM EST Keynote Workshop: "Communicating Science Across Cultures" facilitated by Dr. Dana Crawford, Clinical Psychologist and current Scholar-in-Residence at Columbia’s Zuckerman Institute

4:50 - 5:30 PM EST MLC Member Presentation: "Using Data to Define your Program Distribution"

5:35 - 6:00 PM EST Closing Remarks/Key Takeaways

You’ll notice a 5-minute gap between each session, during this time, we will be accommodating for short breaks and showcasing the MLC Connects Member showcase videos, a digital mobile laboratory rodeo!
